FAQS

Common questions about anxiety therapy:

  • We focus on gathering information about your specific anxiety symptoms. We work on building awareness of your triggers, what negatively affects your anxiety and what helps decrease its effects. We work on managing anxiety with a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , increasing self awareness and coping skills.

  • The length of counseling services is different for everyone. We will work together to build a psychotherapy plan that works for you. Generally, clients start with psychotherapy services weekly or bi-weekly for 6 to 12 months.

  • The first step is calling (414-899-5915), emailing (info@caitlinwalshcounseling.com), or completing our contact form to book an initial consult. Once we have that consult and make sure we are a good fit for your counseling journey, we schedule our first session. You will get an email with a link to fill out initial paperwork. Then we have our first therapy session either in person or virtually.
